Sage Oak of Denton Assisted Living and Memory Care is Hiring a Memory Care Caregiver (All Shifts Available) Near Denton, TX
About Us: Sage Oak Assisted Living and Memory Care of Denton is a dedicated residential community providing compassionate care and support to seniors with memory care needs. Our intimate and warm environment fosters a sense of family and community, with a maximum of 16 residents per community. We take pride in our high care ratio, ensuring that our residents receive the individual attention and personalized care they deserve. We are currently seeking a dedicated Memory Care Caregiver to join our team.
Position Overview: As a Memory Caregiver, you will have a unique opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of our residents. Your compassionate and person-centered approach will create a nurturing and safe environment where residents can thrive. This position offers a fulfilling experience for caregivers who are passionate about supporting individuals with challenges.
Responsibilities:
- Provide hands-on care and assistance to residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) in a compassionate and respectful manner.
- Foster a warm and engaging atmosphere, promoting social interaction and meaningful engagement for residents.
- Assist residents during mealtimes, ensuring they receive proper nutrition and hydration.
- Engage residents in cognitive-stimulating activities and programs tailored to their interests and abilities.
- Monitor residents' health and well-being, promptly reporting any changes or concerns to the nursing staff.
- Maintain accurate records of care provided and daily observations.
- Assist and administer medications
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Compassion and empathy for individuals with needs.
- Understanding of person-centered care and ability to adapt care to meet individual preferences.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a compassionate team.
Schedule:
Shift:
- 6:00 AM-2:00 PM
- 2:00 PM - 10:00 PM
- 10:00 PM - 6:00 AM
Days: 4X2 schedule - work 4 days on/off 2
